We finally saw LMS last night! Wun Chong and I love Steve Carell and while lurking at Mindy's I saw her review of LMS. We loved it! Thanks Mindy!

The movie's about a dysfunctional family who were dragged from NM to CA by their youngest member to join Little Miss Sunshine Beauty Pageant. Well, actually they were not dragged but instead they had to push their little yellow bus and just thinking about those scenes make me laugh. Hay, watch it and you'll learn to love their characters too.

Dad Richard (Greg Kinnear) - motivational speaker. he lectures about winners/losers
Mom Sheryl (Toni Collete) - a chain-smoking housewife
Uncle Frank (Steve Carrell) - the Proust scholar gay uncle who recently attempted suicide
Grandpa Edwin (Alan Arkin) - cocaine sniffing grandpa
Son Dwayne (Paul Dano) - vowed not to talk until he gets into the Air Force
Olive (Abigail Breslin), the little girl who dreams of becoming a beauty queen and was given the chance to join the Little Miss Sunshine pageant
