LOST

last week wun chong and i were talking about our blockbuster online rental...

ako: (while checking out the mail) yes! andito na ang 1st disc ng lost season 1!
wun chong: ano na naman yang pinila mo sa queue! anong tv series na naman yan!
ako: maganda 'to napanood ko first few epis nito sa pinas pero di ko na nasubaybayan kasi nga busy tayo.
wun chong: (ranting to himself) ang papanget kasi nire-rent mo tulad nung entourage
ako: hoy maganda yung entourage ha! atsaka yung 4400 at lalo na yung 24! aba baket na-obsessed ka nga sa prison break diba at nagustuhan mo naman criminal minds!

after watching the first 4 discs with me eto na...

ako: uy napapalitan mo na sa store yung dvd (may in-store exchange kasi ang blockbuster so after watching the dvds sent thru mail we can get a free in-store rental pag sa store namin sinoli)
wun chong: oo
ako: ano ni-rent mo, maganda ba?
wun chong: smokin' aces, andun si alicia keys. pero mas gusto ko panoorin lost eh, kelan ba darating yung disc 5?
ako: baka sa wednesday pa, baket adik ka na noh!
wun chong: eh ang ganda eh mas maganda pa sa prison break

so on to disc 5 ng lost, wednesday night 9:45pm.
wun chong: bad trip nag-i-skip yung disc 5! check natin sa PC... bad trip ayaw din malala ang sira!
ako: papalitan mo sa store
wun chong: tara! tapos yung free rental coupon natin rent na lang natin yung disc6, i-cancel mo na yung online kasi after ilang days pa darating yun.
ako: ok i-cancel ko na. next na sa pila yung lost season 2

so mag 10pm eh drive kami sa 2 blockbuster stores to exchange disc 5 and get discs 6/7

so officially LOST adik na talaga kami!

and we thought winter is over!

no no no!!! pinasabik lang kami huhuhu we're back to winter wonderland view and sabi hanggang april pa daw 'to and another snow storm is coming... waaahhhh... :(

train set

yahoo!!! sa wakas nabuo na namin ni butchok ang train set nya. it was a bday gift from his daddy and ninangs (my 2 evils sisters sa pang-aasar kay wun chong) and after 5 months lang nabuo yung tracks/set. butchok doesn't know how to play with it then gusto kalasin palagi. i'm hoping na di nya kalasin at warakin in the next few hours :D i also ordered replacement parts from the manufacturer and was surprised coz they're free! me so happy! and so is butchok with his train set!

sarap ng feeling

yep yep ang sarap ng feeling na nasa 30s na ang temp dito. sa wakas natapos na rin ang -F readings. sarap ng feeling na hindi na ice cold ang tubig sa gripo. ang sarap ng feeling pag lumabas eh di ko na kailangan magsuot ng patong-patong na damit at makapal na jacket. la-la-la-la-la spring is here :P

DST... hello spring!!!

DST na... it's almost spring!!! well, officially sa 21st pa. anyhoo i baked a cheesecake trip trip lang kunyari to welcome spring even if it still feels very much like winter :P it's my 2nd time to bake one and wun chong can attest that it exactly tastes like cheesecake factory's mwehehe. sobrang dali lang gawin pramis, i just got the recipe from the philadelphia cream cheese box. yum yum!

criminal minds

we just finished watching season 1 and grabe sobrang bitin ng season ender! wun chong and i seldom watch tv series/shows and would rather wait for them to come out on DVD para dire-direcho ang viewing pleasure. but i never heard of criminal minds and if not for mindy eh i'll never know about this great series! sana matapos na season 2 sa tv at ma-release na on dvd!

ottoman and laminate floors

finally the ottoman is done!
told wun chong that we can't start on a new project without finishing the previous one. so we joined minds on wrapping up the ottoman, cool noh :D

so on to our next project. changing the living/dining room carpet to laminate floors. first we had to move some stuff in our basement, most of butchok's toys... our basement is a walk-out type so we turned this one to our family room coz it's finished naman.

we thought it was an easy task lang, grabe pagtanggal pa lang ng carpet et al matagal na rin pala.

then we have to plan pa the laying of the laminates coz we have to lay them like bricks so we have to cut some planks. actually wun chong did all the work. butchok, evil sis and i just added the mocking hehe ;D but we're done laying the planks! and kulang na lang yung mga edge and transition mouldings. home depot's out of stock ng brazilian cherry colored mouldings. hopefully meron na so we err wun chong can finish up this weekend.
